Police arrest teen for Furniture Mart shooting – WOWT

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) — Omaha police have arrested a 19-year-old for felony assault in the Nebraska Furniture Mart shooting.

Police arrested Ryan Blaha Thursday for the shooting that injured 37-year-old Jared Clawson.

Clawson was shot in the parking lot of the Nebraska Furniture Mart early Wednesday morning. That incident happened around 5 a.m.

Clawson, an employee of the Furniture Mart, was critically injured but he is expected to recover.

Blaha was booked into Douglas County Corrections for 1st Degree Felony Assault, Two Counts of Attempted Felony Assault, Three counts of Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Robbery.
