CARVER — Southcoast Kitchen Designs announced that Scott Wheeler, of Norton, has joined the firm as a sales and design representative.

In this role, Wheeler will work with clients to address their cabinet, countertop and hardware design vision and objectives, suggest and select materials, coordinate installation resources and see projects through to completion. Wheeler comes to Southcoast Kitchen Designs with more than 35 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, the last 15 of which was as a designer. Prior to joining the company, he was a senior designer for National Lumber and most recently held the same title for Fairview Millwork. He has held a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License since 1986 and was a member of the National Association of Remodelers while employed at National Lumber and Fairview Millwork.

Wheeler attended Berklee College of Music where he majored in education and also studied jazz trumpet. He is married and has a son who is an army combat medic presently stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. In his spare time, Wheeler plays jazz trumpet, gardens and tests his gourmet cooking skills.
