President Trump Thursday urged Democrats to swiftly approve his remaining Cabinet nominees, claiming he’ll be at a disadvantage during his upcoming meeting with British Prime Minister Theresa May without his commerce secretary by his side.

“I’m meeting with the prime minister tomorrow but I don’t have my commerce secretary and they want to talk trade,” Trump told House and Senate Republicans at their annual retreat in Philadelphia.

“So I guess I’ll have to handle it myself,” he said to laughter.

A handful of Trump’s Cabinet nominees, including Wilbur Ross, his pick for the Commerce Department, have been confirmed by Senate committees but must still be voted on by the full upper chamber.

“They could move faster,” the president said of Senate Democrats, who have stalled several confirmation proceedings since Trump finished rounding out his Cabinet.
