John L. ‘Luke’ Stone, furniture maker – Baltimore Sun

John L. “Luke” Stone, a former Brooklandville resident and furniture maker, died Sept. 19 after being injured in an automobile accident near Lincoln City, Ore. He was 43.

Mr. Stone, who lived in Cheshire, Ore., fell asleep while driving, said his mother, Anne L. Stone, a retired librarian, who lives in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Baltimore County.

John Luetkemeyer Stone, who was also the son of James D. Stone, an attorney, was born in Baltimore and raised on Hillside Road in Brooklandville.

Mr. Stone attended Friends School and later earned his General Educational Development certificate. He also studied at the University of Oregon.
