You Can Buy Noma’s Gorgeously Nordic Used Furniture for Thousands of Dollars – Eater

Noma stans, mark your calendar: On November 2, chef René Redzepi’s iconic Copenhagen restaurant will auction off its furniture, ceramics, decor, and other design pieces from its original location. The auction is hosted by Wright auction house in Chicago.

A set of four dining chairs, from Niels O. Møller and J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, are estimated to for go $4,000 to $6,000. A leather and wood setee from SPACE Copenhagen and Stellarworks is estimated for $5,000 to $7,000. Various ceramics and wood serving pieces are estimated in the low to high hundreds. If you are looking for the perfect stuffed puffin to finish your space, consider this one from Ole Høegh Post, which is estimated for $300 to $500.

The auction is just the next step on the path to reopening for Noma, which closed its doors on earlier this year, and will open at its new location in early 2018. Reservations for Noma 2.0 will go live on November 16. And for those among us who don’t want to buy chairs as a souvenir for all the good Noma times, there’s three new cookbooks to look forward to.
